Part time Vet

Independent, family owned, small animal clinic is looking for an additional vet (part-time for 1 to 3 days).

We are a small enthusiastic team of 8: 
3 receptionists, 3 nurses, 1 vet and a practice manager. We are looking for an additional experienced, part-time, first opinion vet, who is happy with some occasional sole charge. Teamwork is important to us and we try hard to make the work place a happy place. 

We opened in May 2024 and are striving to give the best animal care as well as having compassion and empathy for the owners. This has resulted in a lovely, appreciative client base with a varied caseload. We offer  routine and soft tissue surgeries in house, but refer our orthopaedic surgeries to another independent practice.

We have new and modern equipment, a complete in-house lab (Milab) as well as a supportive external lab and excellent surgery equipment and lighting.

We support CPD for all our staff

VDS /RCVS fees paid by practice 
Workdays are from 8:30am to 6pm
No OOH, bank holidays or weekends (they are covered by VetsNow)
Holidays: 20-25 days plus bank holidays pro rata

We are looking forward to an additional vet for 1 to 3 days a week.

Wage negotiable on experience.
